I just watched a show where they clean out homes for people and then re-design the area for the people. There is a newlywed couple who just moved into the groom's family home. His parents have both passed, and the house is FULL of everyone's stuff. He felt like holding on to everything as a reminder of them.
Children: do not do this! Your spouse deserves your sacrifices. Don't be a pig like this guy and not make any room for your spouse. Don't ever forget your mama, but don't let things rule your life.
